The Policies.
OUR PURPOSE:
To provide our customers with investment-grade art and collectible dolls, as well as unique gifts that will bless them, and their loved ones, as treasured mementos and heirlooms.
METHODS OF PAYMENT:
We accept Visa and MasterCard. We also accept payment in the form of bank money orders, postal money orders, cashier checks, and personal checks. Shipping of items paid for by personal check will be held for 7 days or until check has cleared. Returned checks will result in a $25.00 fee to be paid by the buyer.
TERMS OF PAYMENT:
In-Stock Sales
Payment must be received within 7 business days upon agreement of sale. If payment is not received in this given time period, the item will be returned to inventory for sale.
Pre-orders
A pre-order account will be set up for anyone ordering a new release doll that is not in stock and must be ordered from the factory. Your account will be charged a 20% deposit. Pre-orders paid by check or money order will not go into effect until the check or money order arrives. Should this deposit not arrive within 10 days, your pre-order will be cancelled.
If you are paying for a pre-order by credit card, the remaining balance will be charged when the item is ready to ship. We will email or phone you if you are paying by check or money order to let you know the item is in stock. The remaining balance must then be paid within 14 days.
Layaways
Layaway plans are available. However, we do not offer layaway on purchases that total less than $100.00. A 20% deposit is required within 7 days of the sale agreement with the total layaway balance due within 90 days. We are happy to charge you on mutually agreed upon dates during this 90 day period. Customized layaway plans that extend beyond 90 days are available for specific needs on higher priced items when pre-arrangements are mutually agreed upon.
No cancellation on layaways is allowed. A restocking charge of 20% will be applied to all layaways that are canceled due to nonpayment. A cash refund will not be available for the monies left in the account as a result of a forfeited layaway sale. These monies (less the 20% restocking fee) can be applied as a credit to your next purchase of any item currently in inventory but only within 30 days after the 90 day layaway period has expired. It is your responsibility to notify us of your default on a layaway during that 30 day period.
Note: The price of the item on the date the layaway is started is what the layaway order will be billed at, whether the item is discounted elsewhere or has a price increase later. There are absolutely no refunds, exchanges or changes on layaways. Damaged merchandise can be returned for the same item only.
To place order on layaway, please place the order through the secure server on this website and under "Comments" note that you are purchasing under the Layaway Plan.
Payment Plans
We match our competitors' payment plans on expensive items like Annette Himstedt dolls. We do not offer financing. We will not ship any item until it has been paid for in its entirety. All orders will be held for shipment until final payment has been received and cleared. Our local bank has excellent financing available and we would be happy to refer any of our customers for their services.
Special Orders/Extremely Limited Editions
We are delighted to make special orders and bring in highly sought after merchandise from around the world. However, default on payments on Special Order items or Highly Limited Editions will result in immediate forfeit of all monies paid. No refund or store credit will be given.
SHIPPING POLICY:
We offer FREE shipping on all items totaling over $100.00 that are shipped at one time and within the continental US to one address. All orders totaling $100.00 or below will be charged a Minimum of $7.00 and a Maximum of $10.00 per shipment.
Exception: All Annette Himstedt Dolls Ship for $20.00 to Lower 48 States, unless otherwise specified.
Most of our packages are sent by FedEx Ground service, fully insured with door-to-door tracking information emailed to you. Occasionally, we employ the U.S. Postal Service for small items and for overseas shipments. All items will be insured for full value. Faster delivery requirements can be requested and will involve additional charges.
All shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico will be shipped via the U.S. Postal Service and will be charged a quoted rate per item for insured shipping. There will be an additional handling charge of $5.00 added to each package, along with the actual postage.
International orders will be sent via the U.S. Postal Service due to their lower shipping rates, and will be shipped/charged for Global Express Shipping which includes insurance and a tracking number. There will be an additional handling charge of $5.00 added to each package, along with the actual postage.
Most (90%) of orders of in-stock merchandise will ship within 72 hours from when the order was received. All in-stock orders will ship within 7 business days or the customer will be notified. All Post Office Box addresses will be charged an additional $5.00 for handling.
DAMAGED SHIPMENTS:
All items are inspected and photographed prior to packing. If a damaged shipment is received, please be sure to sign the delivery slip: "Damaged Package Received." Prior authorization is required for return of damaged shipments. Please contact us within 5 days upon receipt and also contact the carrier who will arrange for the package to be inspected at your location. Box and packing material must be available for the claim to be processed. If a damaged package is returned without authorization, the insurance claim could be denied in which case we will not be responsible.
We cannot accept returns or make exchanges for damaged boxes.
Barring any unforeseen acts of GOD, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
SALES TAX
There will be no sales tax charged to any orders shipped outside the State of Missouri. If you live in the State of Missouri, you will be charged 7.325% Missouri Sales Tax. There are no exceptions.
